DIANA C. STOMSVIK INVITED TO HEAD OPERA
DIANA C. STOMSVIK was selected to be ARTISTIC CONSULTANT and COORDINATOR for the SINO-US FRIENDSHIP FESTIVAL CONCERT at Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall on October 4, 2009 that featured Soloists from China, including MA XIAOHUI, famous Er Hu Artist, JULIA ZHU, Soprano, GERARD POWERS, Tenor, ANNA VIKRE, Soprano, JENNIFER ROWLEY, Soprano, Chorus of 120, and EDWARD COX, (Son-in-Law of Pres Richard Nixon) as Special Guest Speaker.
DIANA C. STOMSVIK has been invited to head the series, “OPERA AT THE OPERA HOUSE” at the Opera House in Bethel, Ct. The series will offer opportunities to emerging artists. The season for spring and fall, 2010 is presently being formed.
Announcements of the operas, schedule, and singers’ auditions will be made in the near future.
